1 Origin

In 1276 BC, Arcesius was born on Cephallenia in the Ionian Sea.

Arcesius' father was Cephalus, son of Pandion.

In 1277 BC, Cephalus, with the help of Amphitryon, invaded the land of the Teleboans and settled on Cephallenia.

At that time, Cephalus married Euryodeia, daughter of Pterelas the Teleboan, and had a son, Arcesius.

In 1237 BC, Heracles, son of Amphitryon, invaded Thesprotia.

Arcesius cooperated with Heracles to repay the favor his father Cephalus had received from Amphitryon.

At that time, Arcesius fought against the Teleboans of Ithaca and married Chalcomedusa, daughter of Ithacus.

Arcesius and Chalcomedusa had a son, Laertes.
