Enyeus was born on the island of Naxos in 1267 BC.

Enyeus' father was Oenarus, a priest of Dionysus. [See Ariadne]

In 1245 BC, Enyeus moved from Naxos to Caria and founded Cyrnus. [Diod.5.79.2]
