Andros (or Andreus) was born in Delos in 1202 BC.

Andros' father was Anius (or Anion), son of Zarex. [Diod.5.79.2, Ovid.Meta.13.640]

In 1180 BC, Andros moved from Delos to an island near Euboea. The island became known as Andros. [Diod.5.79.2]

In 1170 BC, a rebellion broke out on the island, and Andros moved to the southern foot of Mount Ida in the Troad and founded Antandros. [Photios.186.41]
