In 1234 BC, Alphesiboea (or Arsinoe) was born in Phegia (later Psophis) in Arcadia.

Alphesiboea's father was Phegeus, son of Xanthus. [Paus.8.24.8]

Alphesiboea married Alcmaeon, son of Amphiaraus. [Apo.3.7.5, Paus.8.24.8]

Alcmaeon and Alphesiboea had a son, Clytius. [Paus.6.17.6]
