1 Origin

Daedalion was born in Phthia, Thessaly, in 1306 BC.

Daedalion's father was Actor, son of Myrmidon. [Ovid.Meta.11.289]

Daedalion's mother was Aegina, daughter of Sicyon. [Pind.Ol.9.65]

 

2 Family

Daedalion married Philonis (or Chione), daughter of Pandion. [See Philonis]

Daedalion and Philonis had twin sons, Autolycus and Philammon. [FGrH.Nr333.F120, Ovid.Meta.11.301]

Daedalion and Philonis were married by blood.

Both were descendants of Erechtheus, the sixth king of Athes.

Daedalion was the son of Aegina, daughter of Sicyon, grandson of Erechtheus. [Newton.173]

Philonis was the daughter of Pandion, son of Cecrops, son of Erechtheus. [See Philonis]
