2.1 Archander's wife
From the following, it is assumed that Archander's wife was Cyrene, daughter of Hypseus, who lived near Mount Pelion in eastern Thessaly.
1) When a genealogy is made, there is no contradiction between Cyrene and Archander as a couple.
2) At the age of marriage, Cyrene and Archander lived in Thessaly.
3) Both Cyrene and Archander emigrated to Libya. [Diod.4.81.1, Herod.2.98]
4) Cyrene was the daughter of Hypseus, son of Aeolus, brother of Xuthus, father of Archander's father Achaeus.
Cyrene was Archander's second cousin.

Archander took Scaea, daughter of Danaus from Argos, as his second wife. [Paus.7.1.6]

In 1435 BC, Archander moved with his father to Melitaea in Thessaly. [Paus.7.1.3]
In 1425 BC, Archander married Cyrene, daughter of Hypseus, who lived near Mount Pelion in eastern Thessaly. [Estimated from Just.13.7, Diod.4.81.1, and Herod.2.98]
In 1420 BC, Archander moved from Melitaea to Aegialus. [Strabo.8.7.1]
In 1408 BC, Argos, the city of Archander's wife Scaea, was occupied by Lamedon of Aegialeia (later Sicyon), and Abas, son of Lynceus, was expelled. [MalaChro.4.68]
In 1407 BC, Archander fought Lamedon, recaptured Argos, and recalled Abas.
