3 Others
In 1264 BC, Androgeus was killed at Oenoe, at the foot of Mount Cithaeron, on his way to Thebes to take part in the funeral games of Laius. [Apo.3.15.7-8, Diod.4.60.5]
Diodorus reports that Androgeus was murdered because he was close to the sons of Pallas, Aegeus's political rival, and was suspected of his intentions. [Diod.4.60.4-5]
