Eurycleia's father was Athamas, son of Aeolus.

Eurycleia married Melas, son of Phrixus, son of Athamas.

Melas and Eurycleia had a son Hyperes.

Hyperes gave his name to the Hypereia fountain in the center of Pherae in Thessaly.
