In this exercise, each person goes around and shares how they are effected and feel by the actions of someone else.

Appreciative I Statement

Choose one person (or go around for everybody) and think about the question:

What is it about the other that gives you a warm, lovely, appreciative or happy feeling?

It can be their look, their clothing in the here and now (or past), but the most impact is when you can mention something that they said, did or mentioned, and that had a positive effect on you, which you still smile about when you think of it.
