SUBJECT:
Dear
Thank you for your interest in the Empathy Training Design Project. Since Bill Miller posted to the motivational interviewing list we are excited to have several people share an interest in taking part from that list!
To take part.
( ) 1. Familiarize Yourself with the Project
( ) a). Review Project Website: http://j.mp/EmpathyTraining
( ) b). Read the Project Overview: http://j.mp/2qu57Nb
( ) 3. Scheduling Your Dates and Times
Add the day and hours of the week that you can meet every week for at least 6 weeks. We need a 2 hour time block. We will then see if the times overlap with an existing Design Team or if we can get enough people together to form another one.
Let me know if you have any questions.
Warmly
Edwin
Director: Center For Building a Culture of Empathy.

Edwin: For our Empathy Training project teams, I wanted to see what you think is the best way to communicate?
I created this email list for both teams. If you send an email to empathy-training@googlegroups.com it goes to both teams.
It also is archived here.
https://groups.google.com/forum/#!forum/empathy-training
Since we are working on the same project, just in different teams, I thought it was good that both teams keep up on and learn from each other’s progress. Also that we have a central archive of the emails. However, I don’t want to overwhelm everyone with a lot of emails. Any thoughts on this?
Bob: your emails help me be mindful of being empathic
Jessica: For me, it might be too much. Since we have access to the Google group, I think that if I need to check on the other group and see what's up, I would go and check there directly. I don't feel I need a reminder every week about the other group. I am also anticipating, in the longer term with more groups, it might end up being lot of work for you and lots of emails for everybody.
What is you impression?
