Dear Maureen, I’m Pete Baklinski and this is your Canadian Pro-Life News Bits where I let you know what’s happening on our country’s pro-life and pro-family front.
Quebec's government has acknowledged the growing influence of the pro-life movement within the province. And, the government doesn't like it one bit. Kudos to our sister organization, Campaign Quebec Vie, for all the magnificent work it is doing on the life front.
Dr. Diane Francoeur, executive director of the Society of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists of Canada, is experiencing more pushback over her false statement that there is no way to stop a chemical abortion once it’s started. Over 6,000 healthy babies born to mothers who used the Abortion Pill Reversal protocol prove otherwise.
Canada’s top pro-life researcher, Patricia Maloney, is pushing back against the Federal government for ignoring the blatant misinformation being spread by abortion centres when it comes to authentic reproductive care. Their biggest lie, of course, is that they say that the preborn child living in his or her mother's womb isn't a living human. Just like the evil perpetrators of the gravest injustices of history, abortion adherents dehumanize so they can kill. The truth is that preborn babies are just as human as you and me and are endowed by God with the inalienable right to life.
The Euthanasia Prevention Coalition is reporting yet another increase in the number of euthanasia killings in Ontario when compared to last year. What the numbers reveal more than anything else is that the so-called safeguards that were supposed to protect the vulnerable have utterly failed, as they were designed to fail.
The Ontario township of Emo has been fined $15,000 for refusing the demands of LGBT activists to fly the “Pride Flag” in June. Unjust judgements like this, unsurprisingly, are the logical conclusion of Canada redefining marriage in 2005 to include two people of the same sex. This is a prime example of what happens when homosexuality overruns a culture and civilization.
Don’t miss the inspiring story from the Associated Press (AP), of all places, about how one Catholic family is raising their children to be pro-life. The story shows why the future of the West will be pro-life. Leftists are killing their future through abortion pills. They're even stockpiling the pills to exclude a future with children. They will die out, and their ideas with them, having no progeny to pass them on to. Pro-life parents, like the one in this story, are having children – many children. They're teaching them to pray, trust in God, and vote pro-life. The future of the West will necessarily be pro-life because pro-lifers will be the only ones left standing. Pro-life demography is destiny. This AP story shows what the future looks like.

Maureen, there’s been some disturbing talk lately about the possibility of World War III and a horrifying nuclear Armageddon that could destroy millions.
This got me thinking.
Contrary to what most people think, the most devastating World War actually started on November 18, 1920.
On that day, the Commissars of Justice and Public Health of the Russian Republic signed an edict legalizing abortion on social as well as medical grounds.
Russia was the first country in the world to declare war on preborn humans openly. Since that day, the war against preborn humanity has spread to practically every country around the world. Russia has spread her errors.
Since that day, there have been over one billion preborn human casualties from this war, and counting. The number of victims from this war is greater than all other wars in the history of humanity – combined.
This war shows no sign of ending any time soon. The world's human family has been decimated by the losses, totalling more than one-eighth of the entire world's population.
Saint Mother Teresa once said that the “greatest destroyer of peace today is abortion, because it is a war against the child – a direct killing of the innocent child.”
She continued: “And if we accept that a mother can kill even her own child, how can we tell other people not to kill one another?”
The womb has become a war zone. It should be the safest place on earth for a human person.
The world will not know real peace — it will have no real tranquillity of order — until abortion is abolished.
Peace begins in the womb.
