40 Days for Life inaugural Mass and rally

The 40 Days for Life campaign was launched Tuesday September 21st (Feast of St. Mathew) with an uplifting Mass at Saint Patrick’s Basilica with close to 300 faithful present.  Fr. Richard Siok, Rector of the Basilica, gave a reflective homily. He offered insights into the relevance of Christ’s words to the Pharisees “I desire mercy, not sacrifice” to the Pro-life cause.
