Frank Duff, Servant of God
Frank Duff was born June 7, 1889, in Dublin, Ireland, to a staunch Irish Catholic family. He grew up in an era with many social, economic and political issues. Follow his life and his work, to see how Our Lord and His Blessed Mother called Frank Duff to a life of service and prayer. Mercy radiated from this humble, quiet man. Frank Duff answered and founded the Legion of Mary in 1921. His evangelization established the potential for lay people in the Church. Duff was invited to the Second Vatican Council in 1965 by Pope Pius VI. He died November 7, 1980. Frank Duff's Cause for sainthood was begun in 1996 by then Archbishop of Dublin Desmond Connell D.D.. All answered prayers and miracles attributed to Frank Duff should be sent to the vice-Postulator,
