40 Days for Life Fall 2021 - September 22 to October 31, 2021.

A Fall 40 Days for Life campaign is being planned in Ottawa from September 22 to October 31, 2021.

This year, we have decided not to hold a General Information Meeting prior to the start of the campaign. If you have any inquiries about the campaign, please get in touch with me either by email at wanda40daysforlife@clife.ca or by phone at 613-299-2515.

Join us as we pray and fast for a 40-day period, for the end of abortion in our land. God’s heart aches over the death of these vulnerable little ones.

A prayer vigil will be held at our usual vigil site, the southwest corner of Queen and Bank streets, beside the CIBC bank, daily from Sept. 22 to Oct. 31 from 7 am to 7 pm.

Because of the pandemic, the Scavi at St. Patrick’s Basilica will not be available to us for the storage of supplies, so there will be no sign-in book. Pleases sign in on-line on the website, https://40daysforlife.com/local-campaigns/ottawa/ on the main page, right-hand column under Resources, click on the arrow beside Vigil Sign Up Only.

Signs can be obtained at the Campaign Life Coalition office (east end) or from Helena, our Church Co-ordinator (west end). Signs are a good form of witnessing, but they are not absolutely necessary. Even if you don’t hold a sign, you can still come and pray and be an intercessor for the unborn at the vigil site.

We are also planning to hold Adoration and dedicated Prayer times in area churches.

Join us in this united, world-wide effort to end the slaughter of the precious unborn.

To kick-off the campaign, we are holding an Opening Rally on Tuesday September 21 at 7:00 pm at the vigil site, Queen and Bank streets.

It is our privilege to answer the Lord’s call and dedicate this time period to pray, fast and witness to the sanctity of human life. Plan on being part of this life saving endeavour.

The Fall 40 Days for Life campaign is coming to a close, but you still have time to come out and pray at the vigil site,

Saturday and/or Sunday between 7 am and 7 pm.

A Closing Rally is taking place on Sunday, October 31 at the vigil site (southwest corner of Queen Street at Bank Street) at 7:00 pm.
