Dear Maureen, I’m Pete Baklinski and this is your Canadian Pro-Life News Bits where I let you know what’s happening on our country’s pro-life and pro-family front.
What an exciting week it’s been for the pro-family movement! The Million Person March on Wednesday saw hundreds of thousands of parents rallying across the country in defense of their children against gender ideology in schools. It was a galvanizing moment for the pro-family movement, a movement with political clout that politicians cannot ignore. More than anything, the day showed that parents are the ones with the real power and that the parental rights movement has gained unstoppable momentum. Our team has written an excellent report on the day with lots of photos and videos.
In another big win for the family, the Supreme Court upheld our country’s prostitution law that criminalizes the “pimps” and “johns” in the industry in a move to reduce the demand. The law was being challenged by “sex work” activists who were backed by the abortion industry. This is a big legal win for the pro-family movement.
In other good news, a pro-life hospice has launched what it’s calling a “Guardian Angels program” to help the sick and elderly avoid euthanasia traps that are popping up more and more in our healthcare system. The need for such a wonderful program tells you just how bad our “health care system” has become as it turns more and more into a “death care system.”
The Christian Heritage Party, our country’s only fully pro-life federal party, has released astonishing data on the economic cost of our country aborting some 100,000 children a year. It turns out that the murder of these children by abortion has some very observable economic costs.

Maureen, I’ll keep this short. It’s an exciting time to be alive. We are witnessing parents across the country finally waking up to the extreme danger their children are facing in our public school systems. Our schools have been hijacked by sexual radicals and co-opted to become grooming places of children into destructive lifestyles instead of places of education.
But, parents are finally waking up to how bad it’s become. As a former reporter for a pro-family news organization, I’ve known for years how bad the school system was. I will always remember my assignment in 2015 of going undercover to a teachers’ conference in Toronto where the agenda was all about how to weave LGBT ideology into the curriculum. The entire conference was devoted on how to propagandize children into accepting homosexuality and transgenderism by means of an “inclusive,” “diverse,” and “equable” curriculum.
Mathematics classes would have pink and rainbow triangles and equations about Johnny travelling with his two dads on vacation where the students had to calculate distance and speed. History classes were to be devoted to research on famous LGBT persons. Reading class was to be devoted to books showcasing families with “diverse” structures.
Do you see what our children are up against? And, it’s been going on for many years.
I’m glad parents are starting to come out in great numbers strongly against this. This is only the beginning of what will be a long and arduous fight. LGBT activists will fight tooth and nail to keep the ground they have gained in our public institutions. But, with patient endurance, with prayer, with a planned course of action, and with keeping our eyes fixed on God, we shall overcome.
The Million Person March was a turning point. But, there is much work to be done. So, let us stay the course. Let us put our hand to the plough and not look back. Our children depend on it. Our country depends on it. Our future depends on it.
