Topic 1: Introduction to Learning Management System

In this topic, I explored what an LMS is, its key features, and its significance in teaching and learning. I learned that an LMS serves as a central hub where learners can access learning materials, submit assignments, interact with trainers, and receive feedback.

The topic also covered different types of LMSs used globally, emphasizing how they support flexible and blended learning. I understood that LMSs enhance efficiency by automating administrative tasks, tracking learner progress, and facilitating communication between trainers and students.

This topic gave me a clear foundation on the role of digital platforms in supporting quality and inclusive education within TVET institutions.
