7206 TVET PHILOSOPHY

✍️This Philosophy of TVET Unit provided me with a deeper understanding of the foundations, values, and purpose behind Technical and Vocational  Education and Training. It helped me see beyond teaching as an activity and instead view it as part of a larger mission to prepare individuals for meaningful careers, contribute to national development, and promote lifelong learning. Foe me as a hospitality trainer in training, this unit gave me sense of direction and purpose, reminding me that my role goes beyond delivering knowledge-it is about shaping lives and empowering communities.

It explores how philosophy influences teaching methods, learning goals, and the overall purpose of education. The module enables trainees to reflect on their beliefs, values, and practices as future TVET trainers. Through studying the nature, aims, and dimensions of education, I gained insight into how philosophy guides decision-making, ethical conduct, and creativity in educational environments.
