Topic 1: Promotion of Safety Consciousness

This topic focused on cultivating a safety-first mindset in all aspects of life and work. I learned that safety consciousness involves being aware of potential hazards, following preventive measures, and fostering a culture of accountability among all members of an organization.

In the TVET context, promoting safety among trainees ensures that workshops, kitchens, and training laboratories remain accident-free. I also discovered the importance of conducting safety inductions and using visual reminders such as posters and signs to reinforce safety awareness daily.
