Module 3

This module introduced me to the concept, functions, and importance of Learning Management Systems (LMS) in supporting flexible and blended learning in TVET institutions. I learned that an LMS is a digital platform used to plan, deliver, manage, and assess learning activities online.

Through hands-on experience, I gained knowledge and skills in using Gnomio Moodle, a powerful open-source LMS that allows trainers to create interactive and organized online learning spaces. This module enhanced my ability to integrate technology in teaching and manage digital learning environments effectively.

I discovered that an LMS promotes collaboration, accessibility, self-paced learning, and continuous assessment — essential aspects of modern TVET training.
