This module provided a deep understanding of how curriculum and instruction are managed within a TVET institution. It emphasized the crucial role of administrators, heads of departments, and trainers in ensuring that the curriculum is effectively planned, implemented, monitored, and evaluated to achieve quality training outcomes.
Through this module, I learned that managing curriculum and instruction is not just about delivering lessons but about aligning training with institutional goals, national standards, and industry needs. I also developed skills in curriculum interpretation, resource acquisition, lesson planning, and supervision of learning activities β all essential in promoting effective teaching and learning in a technical training environment.
