This module provided in-depth knowledge on how to effectively manage human resources within a TVET institution. It emphasized the importance of attracting, developing, and retaining competent staff to achieve institutional goals. I learned that managing human capital goes beyond administrative duties β it involves leadership, motivation, communication, and continuous development of staff potential.
The module helped me appreciate that the success of an institution largely depends on how well its people are managed. As a future trainer and possible head of department, I gained practical skills in recruitment, appraisal, work planning, and discipline management, all of which are essential for promoting productivity, teamwork, and institutional excellence.
