This unit provided me with a broad understanding of the philosophical foundations that guide Technical and Vocational Education and Training. I learned the values, goals, and principles that underpin vocational education and how they shape policy and practice. It enhanced my ability to think critically about my role as a TVET trainer and to align my teaching with the goals of national development and social transformation. I am now more committed to upholding the philosophy of skill development, inclusivity, and lifelong learning.
