Al Ain Museum

Al Ain Museum was built in 1969. It includes four main sections which are: The monuments, gifts, Petrol, and the social sections. The museum houses a collection of antiquities that represent the social life in UAE before the age of oil, and monitor the evolution of Emiratis in different affairs of life.

Dubai Museum

The Dubai Museum is an Al Fahidi Fort dating back to 1800 AD, which was a center of government and the place of residence for governor. The purpose of the construction of the museum is to provide a proven track record for the traditional and heritage life of the UAE. This magnificent castle includes two main sections which are heritage and archeology.

Sharjah Museums

Emirate of Sharjah deservedly named the ‘Cultural and Islamic Capital of the Arab World”. This emirate has a wide range of important museums that tell its history. The Sharjah Archaeology Museum includes heritage books, manuscripts, and a rare historical artifact. On the other side, the Sharjah Museum of Islamic Civilization is the first of its kind in UAE and contains a variety of Islamic artifacts that reach to more than five thousand artifacts. These artifacts reflect the arts and sciences that written and created by Muslim scholars and artists. Some of the artifacts are display for the first time and reflect the history of Islam since its inception until now. In addition, Sharjah Museum of Natural History considered as one of the most prominent and outstanding scientific museums in the region. It documents all forms of normal life in the country, both biological and geological by using the latest audio and visual technologies. There are many other museums in the emirate such as the Heritage Museum, Museum of Arts, Science Museum, Maritime Museum, Sharjah Aquarium and many others.

Ajman Museum

The Ajman Museum, which was once the fort first line of defense that protects the emirate, a prominent monument in the emirate which reflects the extent of human progress over the years, and to convey to us the reality of life in different eras. This historic landmark is a record of the ancestors and their heritage, and it’s an integrated museum that contains models of traditional antiquities, industries, traditional careers and pictures of the old social life.

Umm Al Quwain Museum

The museum consists of two main sections; first one is the heritage, which includes the Sabah entrance door, the Sheikh’s council and the living room of the ruler, his collection room, arms room, and traditional crafts room, in addition to pictures of the marine environment. The second section is the Archaeology, which contains a set of monument s that date back to 2000 and 3000 B.C, and the Islamic era, which is about a unit of pottery, glazed pottery, and a set of gold, silver, and bronze ornaments, traded currencies in that period, pots bronze, as well as statues of beheaded falcons which are one of the rare artifacts that Umm Al Quain Museum offer to its visitors.

National Museum of Ras Al Khaimah

National Museum of Ras Al Khaimah Includes many types of relics discovered in the emirate, and considered one of the richest museums in the country through its archaeological pieces. Several suites have been added to it including a special monarchy wing called AlQawasim wing, as well as a heritage wing and rooms for jewelers and traditional clothing, weapons and natural history. The museum contains a section for archeology includes a laboratory to classify and determine the age of the discoveries in collaboration with some European universities. The date of the construction of this museum back dated to the mid-eighteenth century in the era of Persian occupation between 1736 and 1749 AD, where it was the fort housing of royal family until 1964, then became the headquarter of the Directorate General of Ras Al Khaimah Police, then turn into a central prison until 1984. In 1987 after it is restored and returned to its previous state, using indigenous materials, His Highness Sheikh Saqr bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, decided to turn this Fort into National Museum of Ras Al Khaimah.

Fujairah Museum

One of the most important archaeological museums in the east coast region, which includes 2,100 pieces of collectibles and rare archaeological finds dating back to B.C and Islamic eras, the heart of Islam and ages after that down to the modern era. The museum consists of several sections; the most important is Archaeology, which contains a collection of archaeological artifacts discovered in the emirate of Fujairah, and Heritage section, which includes a number of traditional pieces that have been used in the Emirate of Fujairah.
