As a result of excavations in the Eleke Sazy pasture in Tarbagatai district of East Kazakhstan region, the second Golden Man was found, which was not looted and preserved intact. The so-called "Second Golden Man" was looted in 1969 after the Golden Man in Issyk, discovered by archaeologist Kemel Akishev. A valuable artifact discovered half a century later was presented to the media at the Ust-Kamenogorsk Regional Museum of Local Lore.

Archaeologist Zeynolla Samashev, who supervised the excavations at the Eleke Sazy Zhailau, says that the Golden Man was a man, 17-18 years old, living in the VII-VIII centuries BC. So there is a three-century difference between this Golden Man and the Golden Man at the Door. Surprisingly, the Golden Man found in Tarbagatai was covered with gold throughout his life. The hat, the regions of the coat, the dagger holster on the right waist, and the box on the left waist are all decorated with gold ornaments in the style of deer, leopard, and leopard. The boots were decorated with small gold beads. According to archaeologists, the length of the coffin is about one meter, and the necklace made of gold weighs one kilogram. The remains of an arrow in the box and the ornaments on its shoulder straps are also well preserved. "A valuable artifact allows you to solve many mysteries that have not been solved before. First of all, at that time the technology of material processing was very high. It is not easy to make things out of gold that are barely visible. There is a lot of production behind it. Second, we have valuable information about the life, religious beliefs, funerals, food, and weather of the peoples who lived 8,000 years ago. After all, looking at the previously looted Golden People, a general reconstruction was carried out. Everything is stored here. We get a direct answer, not a guess. We produce DNA and create a face image. We decipher the DNA and compare it with the DNA of other Golden People to determine the similarities or differences. It is possible to make a chemical analysis of the composition of gold and find out where our ancestors got and mined gold, "said Z. Samashev. Of particular interest is the emergence of a golden tube from the outlet of the Golden Man. Anthropologists who came to East Kazakhstan from Moscow speculate that the tube may have been used to mummify the body of the Golden Man. "It is clear that the corpse is a man. It is difficult to say how he died. No injuries. One feature is that the bones are perforated in several places. This is how a person of high social status is buried to say goodbye to death. After the nomads settled in the area, people from other parts of the country tried to keep the corpse intact so that they could participate in the farewell ceremony. For mummification, wipe the intestines, They must have used different herbs and liquids, ”said Egor Kitov, a candidate of historical sciences at the Institute of Ethnology and Anthropology of the Russian Academy of Sciences. According to anthropologists, the height of the Golden Man is about 170 centimeters. Speaking at the presentation of the Golden Man in the Ust-Kamenogorsk Museum of Local Lore, Akim of the region Danial Akhmetov said: “You are very proud. What were our ancestors like? Not only did they move in the vast steppes but they also had great knowledge and wisdom. He paid special attention to knowledge and science, not to animal husbandry. Mastered high technology. The Golden Man, who came to us intact, is a clear proof of that. It is possible to say that a new page of history has been opened. ”The territory of Eleke Sazy Zhailau, where the Golden Man was found, will be restored.
