The Warring States

In 1977, the tomb of Zhongshan king of the Warring States period was unearthed in Sanji village, Pingshan County, with a length of 51cm. The tiger's body is round and colorful, with its bow bent to the right, three feet on the ground and one claw rising. It is sending the captured deer into the open mouth. The tiger's ferocity is in sharp contrast to the small deer. Typical style of the Warring States period. There are inscriptions under the animal's abdomen, indicating the production time and the name of the official craftsman.

Unearthed from Liu Sheng's tomb

The shop head was originally inlaid on the gate for knocking rings. It was generally made into a powerful animal face, which had the meaning of suppressing evil spirits and removing evil spirits. Later, bronze, lacquer wood and high-quality coffins are often decorated with shop heads. The head of the gilded copper shop on Liu Sheng's outer coffin is erect with angry eyes, and the forehead is in the shape of a mountain, which has a sense of ferocity.

Copper dice with gold and silver are 18 faceted spherical objects. Among them, there are 16 wrong seal script or official script "one" to "Sixteen", and on the other two opposite sides, the characters "jiulai" and "Jiao" are wrongly printed, and the font is the combination of seal script and official script. "One, two, seven, ten, pride, wine to" and so on six gold inlaid with silver for a week, and the other 12 for inlaid silver for a week. In the space between the faces, the triangular cirrus is staggered with gold wire, and the center is inlaid with Turquoise or red agate. The shape of the dice is extremely exquisite. It is speculated that the dice can be used together with "xingle money in the palace". It should be the plaything of "xingjiuling".
