National Museum of Aleppo

Established in 1982 AD, its headquarters is an archaeological building, called Beit Ajiqbash, in the Ancient City of Aleppo, dating back to the year 1758 AD, during the Ottoman reign. The Dar is characterized by the decorations of its interior walls overlooking its courtyard. The number of displayed artifacts in the museum is about 1300 pieces, including popular fashions, silver jewelry and metal, wooden, pottery and glass artifacts.

It is one of the most important sections in the museum, and includes the most beautiful and most important pieces discovered in the sites of the ancient East. It consists of three large wings, each wing includes several small halls. The ancient Syrian antiquities are divided into three wings, the first of which includes four halls: Tell Brak Hall, Tal Shager Bazar, Tal Aswad - Mary Hall - Hama Hall - Ugarit Hall (Ras Shamra).

Bowl hunting scenes from Ugarit

2- A golden bowl with three rows of hunting scenes engraved on its face, with a chrysanthemum flower in its center. Made of gold, it was found at the site of Ugarit. Its dimensions (depth 4,7 cm, diameter 17,5 cm) date back to the fourteenth century BC.

The human-headed Ebla bull

3- A bull with a squat head of a human being with a beard of lapis lazuli and a wooden wadding, made of gold and lapis lazuli, dating back to the second millennium BC, and was found in Ebla, measuring (44.9 x 1.7 cm).
