The Allow Reallocation feature in Backpack allows you to manage the redistribution of spend between budgets in an account. By enabling Allow Reallocation, you can receive recommendations on how to reallocate a budget. These recommendations will show up as Budget & Spend Notifications, and you can choose to accept, reject, or edit the recommendations. Budget Pacing. By using Allow Reallocation, you can ensure that your campaigns pace properly and spend their target monthly budget effectively.
Performance. Allow Reallocation helps in properly funding your best-performing campaigns, maximizing their performance.
Allow Reallocation operates based on estimates of budget spending. Starting on the seventh day of each month (following the "Stability Period"), Backpack identifies budgets that can give or receive spend based on estimates of how much those budgets will spend by the end of the month. The recommendations generated aim to optimize for cost per conversion, conversion volume, and, if there are no conversions, cost per click.
After you accept, reject, or edit a recommendation, Backpack will again evaluate budgets for seven days before making another recommendation. Recommendations are made between the eighth and 25th days of each month. The minimum recommendation amount is $50, and the maximum amount is capped at 30% of an individual budget.

There are two ways to enable or disable the Allow Reallocation setting in Backpack. Expand the rows below for step-by-step instructions:
Go to the top menu and select Manage.
Choose an Account from the list displayed in the left sidebar.
Select a Budget from the list of budgets associated with the account.
Locate the Allow Reallocation column. If you don't see it, you can edit your columns using the Edit Columns icon.
Toggle the switch on/off for the budgets you want to enable or disable Allow Reallocation.
Go to the top menu and select Manage.
Check the checkboxes next to the accounts you want to update.The blue Bulk Manage bar will appear.
Select Bulk Manage in the blue bar.
Under Actions, click the Please Select dropdown menu and choose Budget.
A new dropdown menu will appear. Select allow reallocation recommendations to enable or do not allow reallocation recommendations to disable.Â
Click Preview to review the changes.
Click Apply when you are ready to implement the changes.
