Blueprint Revision History

Blueprint Revision History serves as a comprehensive log, documenting every modification made to a selected Blueprint. Any updates made to a section or field within a Blueprint—whether it's adding a new ad group, updating a tag in a creative, or changing a campaign's bid strategy—show up here. Revision details include the date of the change, the user responsible for it, and the specific location within the Blueprint where the change was made (e.g., campaign, creative, etc.).

Navigating to Revision History

To navigate to this feature in Backpack:

Go to Blueprints in the top menu.
Click on a Blueprint in the list.
Click View Revision History on the top left of the Blueprint settings.

Best Practices When Using Revision History

Searching for specific term(s). Revision History is organized by date and time, starting with the most recent actions. To search within Revision History, use the search function in the top right of the tool. Note: Using the search function won't narrow down your results; rather, your search term(s) will appear highlighted in yellow across the log entries.
Undoing revisions. Entries in Revision History cannot be reverted or restored from within the log. Note: Our Engineering Team can help undo complicated Blueprint changes (contact your Advertising Engineer), or you can re-select preferences manually within a Blueprint.

Revision History Glossary

You may notice symbols and unfamiliar letter combinations in Revision History. Here's what they mean:

Green plus "+": added object or value
Red minu "-": removed object or value
cmg: campaign
ag: ad group
cr: creative
