In Backpack, the "Bulk Edit" tool for ads lets you find and replace ad content across multiple ads within the same account. For example, you can apply a new headline or description. For changes with no end date, use the ad copy editor to apply the change across multiple ads.
For temporary changes—such as tailoring your messaging for a sale or promotion—use the Broadcast tool instead.
To make edits to multiple ads in the same account:
Go to Manage in the top menu.
Select an Account from the list—then select the Ads tab for that account.
On the right side of the page, click the triple dots icon and select Bulk Edit from the dropdown. This will take you to a new screen.
Select the campaigns or ad groups for text edits. Selecting nothing targets the entire account.
Click Find & Replace Creative Content to open a new modal.
Input your changes:
Perform Action In: Choose the component you would like to change to (e.g., headlines, descriptions, etc.).
Find Text: Enter the text you want to replace.
Replace With: Enter the new text. Note: Choosing a specific location (e.g., headlines, descriptions, etc.) allows you to Replace Entire Field if you want to replace all of the text with your new message.
Click OK to return to the previous screen.
Review the changes in the Ad Preview column. To undo changes, click the reverse arrow next to the checkboxes.
Click Apply # Changes to save the changes.
