Simplify your data exploration with Account Filters in Backpack. Filtering your accounts is a powerful way to save time and drill down into the data. You can easily narrow down your advertising portfolio and access only the information you need by filtering by account name, channel, and other criteria. Go to Manage in the top menu to get started.
In This Article:
A basic account filtering option is to filter by account name. Type the name of a specific account in the search bar where it says Filter Accounts By Name.
Filtering data by channel is helpful, as performance can vary widely across channels. Click View by Channel and toggle on the channels you want to show.
For additional ways to filter accounts:
Click the Filter dropdown, and then Add Filter.
Choose a filter criteria (e.g., Include Labels, Metric cost, etc.).
Enter text and hit the Enter/Return key. Backpack will look for an exact match. See more instructions about using operators below.
Click Apply.
Click Save Filter if you want to use this custom filter in the future. Name the filter and click OK.
Find your saved filters by clicking Showing All Accounts to the left of the search bar.
Advanced filtering operators allow you to customize your data based on set criteria. You can use text or numerical filters.
For text filters, the default operator looks for an exact match. If you want to use a different operator, try using wildcards. For example:
*new* - contains "new"
new* - must start with "new"
*new - must end with new
-*new* - can't contain "new"
n*w - must start with "n" and end with "w"
new - must exactly match "new"
For numerical filters, use the following operators:
less than <
less than or equal to <=
greater than >
greater than or equal to >=
Special Rules for Filtering Operators
Do not use "$" for dollar amounts (e.g., $150 = 150)
Enter percentages as decimals (e.g., 80% = .80)
If filtering to a value of 0, type "0" instead of "=0"
Sharing filters allows you to pass along the same view to other Fluency users. After creating a filter, click Copy Filter URL. Copy the link and share it with another user. Toggling Shared allows others to access your saved filter. Click Showing All Accounts to find your saved filters.
