Step, Step, Glide
Goal
Moving COM over BOS, balancing on one foot.
Helps when a skier has trouble maintaining balance/body position on one gliding ski.
Details
Start with small steps ensuring COM is centred over the foot after each step. After an odd number of steps (1, 3, 5, 7), glide longer on the ski. Longer glides provide time to hold and balance.
Progression: Reduce the number of steps between glides until skier is balancing while gliding on every stride.
