Aeroplane Turns
Goal
The skier forms a wedge by rotating both legs, steering the skis along the desired arc resulting in more pressure on the outside ski.
Helps when a skier has trouble committing to the outside ski and has too much weight/pressure on the inside ski.
Details
The skier holds the poles with the tips pointing back and parallel to the snow. The skier maintains this position while making turns. Alternative: Skier drags both poles tips on the snow throughout turn.
