High Five
Goal
Moving COM over BOS as it moves forward onto the new ski.
Helps when a skier has trouble moving COM forward over the glide ski. Perhaps their rear ski slaps the snow, or rear leg does not fully extend. The High Five hand helps counter balance forward so the skier can more fully extend the rear leg even off the snow.
Details
Have skiers do a High Five with their leading hand at chin height while their trailing hand and arm swings back as they stride. Poles optional.
