3 Little Bounces
Goal
Ankle, knee, hip and torso align to balance over a flat ski. Leg force is generated by flexing all lower joints.
Helps when a skier has trouble balancing on one ski.
Details
During free skate, skier does 3 gentle bounces (with ankle, kee, hip flexion) on each glide. This will set their stance/alignment over the ski.
Progress to Hop Skate.
