DP-Stand-Pause
Goal
Encourage the use of core muscles and body weight in Double Pole. Torso is diagonally forward at the start of the pole plant.
Helps when a skier tries to Double Pole without straightening body first to load the poles.
Details
Double Pole, return to the upright position, and pause briefly before initiating the next Double Pole. This helps the skier apply maximum power to the poling action.
