Jump & Hold
Goal
Ankle, knee, hip and torso align to balance over a flat ski. The ski lands flat. Leg force is generated by flexing all joints, followed by a quick extension that projects the COM.
Helps when a skier has trouble balancing on one ski or preloading the ski.
Details
Pop/spring off one bent leg, and then land on it. Alternate legs. Use a sharp and fast motion to demonstrate the flexion and extension cycle.
