Hand Clap & Variations
Goal
Encourage longer glide to have time to make both claps. Ankle knees, hip and torso align to balance over a flat ski. Skier is flexed before propelling COM forward onto the new glide ski.
Helps when a skier has trouble balancing on one ski or is challenged by the timing of extending up then flexing down before moving COM forward onto the new ski.
