Cuckoo Clock

Goal

Force is applied to the poles beginning with torso flexing, then shoulder, elbow and wrist joints extend. Torso returns to be diagonally forward at initiation of pole plant.

Helps when a skier poles using arms without integrating their core and whole body movement.

Details

Plant both poles. Lock shoulders. Skier propels forward by crunching down, dropping their body weight and bending their hips, knees and ankles. Then come back up with a "Cuckoo!"
