Hopscotch

Goal

Encourage ankle flexion and edge control with each lateral push.

Helps when a skier tries to push off a straight leg or is not preloading and moving to the edge for an effective lateral push.

Details

From a stationary position, standing on one edged ski, extend your leg to make a small hop, landing on the other flat ski. Focus on using the ankle joint. Repeat. Now work on the other leg. Now combine.
