Hand Clap (side)

Goal

Skier moves COM over to the new glide ski in order to plant the poles at close to the same time as the ski. This is commonly referred to as a 3-point touch.

Helps when a skier has difficulty getting COM over the new ski in order to plant their poles at roughly the same time.

Details

Without poles, have skiers clap their hands to one side of their body at eye level as their ski contacts the snow.
