Static Angulation Pull

Goal

The skier's COM moves to the inside of the turn (angulation) flattening the inside ski, enabling the ski to pivot parallel to the outside ski and to increase the edge angle of the outside ski to grip the snow.

Helps when a skier moves COM over outside ski flattening this ski and stopping the turning action.

Details

On the flat two skiers stand beside each other, facing in opposite directions with skis parallel. They hold each others hands. One skier pulls sideways, gently on the second skier, who resists by edging their skis, moving their hips away from the puller and angulating slightly.
