Carry the Tray
Goal
Shoulders and hips remain as parallel to each other and horizontal as possible.
Helps when a skier tips shoulders from side to side to try to aid balance.
Details
Imagine you are holding a tray of full glasses with your favorite drink, while you ski. Try to not spill a drop. Maintain an athletic position and a quiet upper body. Start on flat terrain, then introduce more challenging terrain. If available, use a terrain park, or ski playground with bumps, rollers or agility features.
This task can be completed without poles, or holding both poles (straps off) as a mock tray in front of the body to help show when the drinks are spilling. Or use a piece of cardboard or foam as a tray and half tennis balls as glasses.
