Side Slip
Goal
The skier's COM moves to the inside of the turn (angulation) to increase the edge angle of each ski to grip the snow.
Helps when a skier has trouble adding and releasing edge angle.
Details
The skier stands in an athletic stance across the slope. The skier then releases their edges and slides sideways down the slope. Move the COM uphill while edging the skis to stop.
