Season Summary
This season the girls experienced much success, ending with an overall 27-3 record, 10-0 in conference. YISS had the pleasure of hosting ACSC and through tough gameplay made it into the championship game, coming up a little bit short against Faith and resulting in 2nd place. For KAIAC the girls also ended in 2nd place, losing to SFS in the final.
During these two tournaments, many of the girls received awards recognizing their performance in both leagues. At ACSC, Helena, Maya, and Christine received all-tournament honors and Jaelyn Koo received the ACSC Best Receiver award and Helena received the ACSC Best Server award. At KAIAC, Avery, Maya, and Christine received the all-tournament team award as well as receiving the all-conference team award. At KAIAC, Jaelyn Koo received the KAIAC best passer award and Chloe Smith received the KAIAC best setter award.
