Season Summary

This season was a building year by all accounts. Riddled with sickness and injury with almost all new players to varsity girls basketball, the girls worked hard to learn more and more about the game each time they stepped onto the floor. Some highlight games were winning commandingly over HHS at home. The girls also pulled out an overtime win over TCIS at their house and got to play in tough competition against base schools at Far East as well as solid play in ACSC. Lots of girls grew a ton like Avery who started to average double digits near the end of the season! Also, all the girls got a chance to play solid minutes throughout the season and experienced the game at all levels. YISS VGB has a bright future ahead!
