Season Summary
In many ways, this was a break-through season for the boys soccer team. Led by some key seniors, Bryan Lee, Eujun Kim, and Caleb Paik, there were a lot of expectations. The boys showed their potential at ACSC in the fall, earning 4th place.
In the KAIAC season, they struggled to put the ball in the net, and losing a couple of key players to injury didn't help. Despite these setbacks, the boys eked out wins against everyone except for the top two teams, SFS and CI.
At the KAIAC tournament, when they were finally at full strength, the guys really showed their merit, pushing Chadwick to extra time goal-less, before allowing the lone goal in the 2nd 5-minute extra time period. In the 3rd place game, the guys pushed top seed SFS to PKs, where they eventually lost 3-4.
Despite the disappointing losses, the level of play for the guys earned them the respect of every other team they faced. Perhaps the biggest accomplishment of the season was the respect the other teams showed them by voting them the team with the best Sportsmanship throughout the season.
