Season Summary
This season saw its ups and downs but the team grew closer together as the season progressed. The season started with the Korea Classic tournament where we lost in the final to SFS. In the regular season the boys went undefeated (10-0) against all conference teams. This was probably the highlight of the season as it showed how much grit and skill these boys really had when they were fully healthy. They just knew how to win. When it was time to turn it on and step up they were able to do that through a ten game regular season.
Going into the ACSC and KAIAC tournaments, however, they ran into injury struggles. Some were unable to play and some didn't make it through the ACSC tournament without injury. The boys still won games and showed tremendous heart throughout both of these tournaments. Colin Chung won Best Passer at the ACSC tournament and it was well deserved. While some were injured, Colin was left to cover the majority of the back row throughout the tournament, stepping up in leadership when the team really needed him. Colin also broke the school record in season digs. In the Kaiac tournament the boys finished strong. Ryan Suh had the most kills in the tournament and finished on the all-kaiac team. Ryan also broke the school record in blocks, both single season and career.
The season saw success because of these boys' willingness to work hard, own their mistakes, and work together as a team.
