Season Summary

The YISS Varsity Cheer team wraps up another successful season. This year's team, made up of 2 sophomores, 5 juniors, and 5 seniors continued to build on their leadership and experience from last year to once again place in the top 3 in the KAIAC conference.

The team has been committed to building school spirit as well through running 3 pep rallies supporting all the YISS sports teams during their seasons. These girls worked tirelessly throughout the year because they love their school and are proud to support the athletic programs.

The senior leadership was remarkable with Captains Emily Birmingham and Aeri Kong being named to the All-KAIAC team along with fellow senior Jennifer Kim. Congratulations to those three girls for 4 years of cheer and and 4 years of placing in the top 3 of the KAIAC conference. Way to go Lady Guardians!
