Season Summary
Each and every one of the girls would say that this season was unlike any other before it. On the courts, the girls tied for second in KAIAC for the season, second in the KAIAC tournament and second among the small schools at Far East, defeating girls tennis powerhouses KIS and SIS along the way. Overall, they finished the season with a record of 11 wins and 3 losses. Helen Lim, Jenny Lee and Joshulyne Park served as the singles players and each were chosen for All-Conference, as was Amanda Lee, who paired with Annie Song for the first doubles team. Helen also received the titles of Tournament Runner-Up and Second Place First Seed Singles. At the tournament, Miss Fritz also received Coach of the Year. Judy Park and Dong Min also partnered together as one of the strongest second doubles teams in KAIAC, and Grace Han, Lumina Lee and Joanne Ryu served as the alternates. Also, Cathy Park served as team manager for the season.
Each of the girls played their best and showed the heart that took what already would have been a good season to make it great. Beyond how each of the girls played, together they cared for each other both on and off the courts and truly made the team the family it became. This season was one of service and encouragement, and the team couldn't have been more blessed.
