Season Summary
This year was a transitional year for both boys' and girls' teams. There were two new head coaches, a new assistant coach, and only a few returners. This posed a number of challenges for the team, but they persevered and learned a lot.
The boys’ team was young and inexperienced. They had a difficult season, coming in last place out of 21 teams in the Guam API tournament. The boys took the loss in stride and came back at the KAIAC tournament and surprised everyone with a 7th place finish. Freshmen Jongho Lee lead the team and grew stronger as both a runner and a leader. He led the boys’ team with a 14th place finish, coming in at 20:09. Freshmen Andy Kung also had a good run coming in 19th place with a time of 20:23.
